Dave i think i posted the main points of the cda meeting to you along with ken and kev the other day via e-mail well my take on it anyway.

I think we are going to have to get the deal that was explained to us by John at the previous meeting when he represented CDA back on track and as agreed on that occasion.

Therefore do we have a copy of the agreement from that day so that i can have a look at it because it is becoming apparent that we need to keep firm records of any meetings we have. I would suggest that we even tape meetings in future to have a verbatum record for any future reference.

We are seeing the sh*t thats being blow up in the ISE Forum at the moment and we should not be in the position of having to defend a deal that we thought was done and dusted.

I think that it might be a good idea to print out a few selected posts from the forum to take along to the meeting that is to beheld between ISE & CDA. As it will stengthen our position on the reaction from our potential agents to the fact that initial committments may not be met i.e. van stocks
or total committment to five year free parts.

The sad thing is that the guys see this appliance as being the whole deal and not just the start of something a lot bigger.

I am now beginning to think that it may be questionable wether we should have created an ISE forum or not as most of the postings this weekend at least are very negative while we are so open we seem to be fighting OUR OWN SUPOSED SUPPORTERS

Not quite sean, the posts this weekend might be negative but they’re from 3 people only. Don’t get to down over three short sighted bods who want us to re write the script. Its up to them to be in or out, Jeremy seems to want out, fine.

Bryan, well his post is rubbish, and I’m sure people will see through it. Andy’s posts are ok, he has concerns and he’s had his answers.

    No big deal.

When they use phrases like ” there’s just not me with concerns” they have defeated themselves, especially when theres little support from anyone else.

The ISE forum is good, it allows all to read and make their own mind up, always remember what JH said at the meeting, we will remember those who supported us at the begining.

I’d agree with Kev and I think that that view is spot on.

At times we perhaps don’t like the freedom of speech, I know I don’t, but where would we be without it? Yes, it’s a pain in the ass at times and we could all live without it but in the end I think it’s pretty much all okay.

    There’s onlt three…

    Jeremy, just a nutter.

Andy, trying to defend his corner even when he’s pointed out to be wrong or on the wrong track.

Bryan, who is quoting massively stupid figures that he has no facts to back up.

All of whom have had their questions answered and facts told to.

If they choose not to accept those facts then that’s their call and anyone reading any of it will see that it is nit-picking.

Ah, but is there “behind the scenes” ? 😉

I think all the Q’s have been answered in the best manner possible hence my lack of involement to be honest, if I contribute as well it’ll look like we’re “ganging” up on the doubters which would further enhance their negative comments.

We need to summon support from the “believers” methinks to dampen the spirits.

I’ve had a PM convo with Andy over repairs@ this weekend as he’s had no calls and wanted the name changed from AC Talbot to Andy Talbot as it’s less formal, when I check it out he covers an enormous 4 postcodes !!!

    Says a lot really 😉

WTF is up with this guy ?

He’s cancelled his order, wants no further part in ISE and still he asks stupid fecking questions.

He’s getting on my tits now 😉

    Dave.

And this comes from uk whitegoods answer to Jobe, It’s time to close the ISE forum to only those guy’s involved in it and that includes Martin.
My take on it is..’If you dont want to be part of the success then FFS Dont be part of the problem ! ‘

At first I thought Andy 2’s concerns were genuine but I am becoming more convinced that someone else is pulling his strings. He is a sneaky little twat who tried to cancell his order directly with CDA without telling anyone.

We are fighting the double battle of trying to build confidence in a new brand whilst at the same time being undermined by our supposed own supporters.

I might be able to accept it from guy’s who have put thier money where there mouth is but not from gobs**tes.

There will always be those that we will never be able to convince even if we had a gold plated Miele on offer.

If we are not careful we will even start to see the stalwarts pull away if we do not close the ISE forum to those who genuinely want to see it succeed. In time we can use thier success to bring others onboard.

    We can’t remove Martin, he’s a moderator 😉

If we remove Andy, he’ll see it as defensive or offensive on our part and post elsewhere no doubt where everyone can see it.

Ken can visit him when he’s finished his holiday as he’s in Cumbria and kick him in the nuts, perhaps that’ll shut him up 😆

The stunt he pulled by phoning CDA wasn’t just to cancel his order IMO, I spoke to David about this yesterday and I think he was trying to gain more information from them than he is letting on 👿

You should have had copies of two emails sent to Andy. He responded to the first but not to the second.

From now on I’m not entertaining him and I’ll just shut him down if he starts.

We will close off the ISE forum in good time, but we’ve used the openess of it to our advantage for months, it’s just bit us in the ass a little. On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to have hampered us too much either.

What we have to do with Andy etc. is realise, as I have said before, that some information people just shouldn’t have so we should keep our gobs shut on the business side of things IMO. Consider it a leasson learnt as that conversation shouldn’t have been allowed to continue and events like these simply highlight the fact that we have maybe been a little too open.

Calling CDA was well out of order and he fecking knows it.
