Participantwe went out to repair one of these ise machines today the company that like to advertise on here. we phoneed them to price up the spares and they were most unhelpful. they would not give us prices and only wanted to know the customers name and address, probably so they could get the service call themselves!!! does anybody know any parts distributors for ise machines!!!

Very few ISE machines are out of warranty. It would be neccessary to check the customers details to find this out.
In-warranty work is always carried out by the ISE agents.

ParticipantHi Beno,
Assuming the machine is out of warranty, there is a good chance if you request the parts in the trade parts section of this forum they will be able to give you the part numbers and possibly supply the parts as well.September 3, 2009 at 6:36 pm #296252iadom

Doubtful if any are out of warranty yet. The first ones will be Vestel produced ISE 2’s.
My first one went in on Nov 02 2007. I’m sure they were only introduced to us at the September 2007 meeting so its no surprise that you were asked for the customers details. 😉

Correct, there should be no appliances out of warranty (that have a valid warranty of course) until October this year at the earliest on IES2. Late 2010 but mostly 2011 when the CI555’s start to exit their warranties.
What we’d do in the first instance is try to allocate to a valid policy so that the spares could be assigned to the customer/call FOC in the first instance.
If no policy can be found we’d then try to find out why it doesn’t.
For that reason there’s not a lot of pricing information available so, you’re asking for something that may well not be available to the people on the phone. And, they’d be confused as to why it was required as mostly all spares are sent FOC against a job.
It wasn’t that they were being unhelpful at all, they were just doing their job the way it should be done.
And, since we don’t actually do the service ourselves, it’s all passed to agents, there’s no point in us trying to capture a call although it would be routed to the seller or nominated agent ordinarily.
That does change in October to a degree though as machines fall out of warranty obviously at which point pricing will be available on all the ISE2 parts. The most common ones will be available online in the shop with trade pricing for trade account holders.
Any of the trade distributors can have the spares info any time they want it. Thus far, nobody has asked us for it.
Any ISE agent either has or can get as much information as they wish whenever they want it. Although I do admit it isn’t the greatest in its current format.
If you still need or want pricing on specific items email on service@iseappliances.co.uk and someone will get back to you as soon as they can with prices and availability on any part you like. Doing it on the phone is not the best way as it sometimes takes a bit of time to track down part numbers, prices and stock.

What machine is it Beno?
The ISE10 does carry a light commercial warranty but that only covers electro-mechanical obviously, not user damage which we get a lot of in a commercial environment. :rolls:
