Don’t be John, it’s the way Ken and I converse normally anyway, least wise when he lets me out of my cage that is… :martin:
I’ve done a full weekends wash with these ‘non-bio’ tabs and they seem just fine. Except that is that placing the tablet at the back of the drum and putting the clothes on top is not the a very well researched solution for Simply to provide in their washing instructions? :rolls:
The fact is that the moment the ISE5 busts into life on fill-up, the tablet is launched into the air and gets lobbed straight into the door boot (just like the old pinball machines of my bygone years 🙁 ). And it happens 4 out of 5 times and then the bl**dy powder sits there until the final rinse when just part of it gets dispersed. Then at the end of the cycle there’s 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the undesolved tablet sitting in the bottom of the door boot still!! 👿
Therefore (I reckon?) the best solution is to get a knife (or scissors) to the tab and as you place it at the back of the drum, puncture it and let the contents spill out. Then place your washing on top and shut the door. Alternatively, remove the soap drawer, place the tablet at the back and poke the drawer back in. That way when the machine fills it takes the ball down the dispenser hose (hopefully before it blocks the narrow channel and creates a flow-back from the drawer?)
The former idea being the more successful IMHO 8)
Going GREEN isn’t without it’s complications now is it? :snigger:
