My ISE W1607W washing machine has been no problem at all until yesterday. When I switched iton the LCD panel displayed a flasing ‘5h’ and none of the dials/buttons function. Doea anyone have any ideas?
My first guess would be that the control module needs replacing ( https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/2822970333-ise-ci555-control-module ) – does that sound likely? Also, does anyone know how easy the ISE machines are to work on? How tricky is the replacement likely to be?

    Many thanks for any advice,
    Cheers,
    John

ps no error code is displayed and the door lock button (press and hold for a few seconds DOES work). I’ve tried turning it off/on at the plug but it’s alwaysthe same.

Has someone accidentally selected a delayed start? Page 15 of the manual explains this function. To cancel you must press and hold Start/Stop button for three seconds.

Well, that would be rather embarrassing. I’m almost tempted to leave work to go home and check now 😐

Well 5h is supposed to signify 5 hours to programme start, it can be set up to 24 hours max. Fingers crossed it is that, control boards are pricey to say the least. 🙁

Dunce’s hat for me :$ – We’ve no toddler’s in the house, so I don’t know how it happened but you were right iadom, it was simplay in delayed start mode. and holiding the Start/Stop button for three seconds cancelled that and returned full function. I’ve never used the mode but I did know it existed so I should have engaged my brain a bit more, I thought that dropping the power would reset the module but presumably it has a cmos battery? Many thanks for taking the time to respond, I’ll stick a tenner in the next charity box I see on your behalf.
