    hi,
sorry couldn’t get on the ISE specific forum, hope someone on this one will help.

the customer has pulled a grey/black type of gasket/seal off the machine.
they are not sure where it came from.
i popped round to hopefully fit this back on but i’m not too familiar with these machines.
it looks like a seal that should fit between the opening in the cabinet at the front to stop anything getting under the drum assembly.
i thought i’d got it sorted as there is a small lip on the seal that i thought fitted over the opening on the front cabinet but the seal seems to be about 2″ to big to stop on.
my question is, does it sound like i’m in the right ball park with this and the seal has just stretched over time making it apear to be too big, in which case i will get another seal.
or, am i way off and doing it wrong?
i have no part numbers or diagrams for this at all.
    any advise appreciated.

    Hi John,

Yes, it sounds like that is the sealing strip around the opening. It’s just a finger guard basically.

cheers, i take it they just should be tight enough to stay on without any glue or sealant on them?

Yup, it just pushes into place and friction holds it there.

We think that people pulling laundry over them pulls them off but, of course, no customer ever does that.
