Hi there all, further trips and adventures with the ole ISE10!

It’s still going strong and washing our clothes well, unfortunately it’s developed an intermittent issue and I’m not sure what the cause is. It appears the machine leaks occasionally on the 95 degree wash, I get a nice little pool underneath the front of the washer. It’s not every hot wash but if it’s bedding or towels then it will.

I took the machine apart to have a look and the main part of the machine looks okay, no sign of massive water leakage. However the front panels show signs of corrosion, like the leak is at the front. This fits with where the puddle appears too. The drain pump is noisy but it works, no signs of leakage from the pipes.

Any ideas? I actually think it might be the door seal, however I’ve never caught it leaking either!

    Cheers

Never seen a door seal leak on these. Most leaks I have seen are from the dispenser drawer. My own ISE10 has the occasional leak at the front but very rare. Might help to reduce the amount of detergent on the very hottest wash. Also a good clean out of the detergent drawer compartment if not done already.

Cheers mate, yeah our drawer is really clean we always keep on top of it. I’ll check the drawer drainage point. What’s causing your occasional leak if you don’t mind me asking? That kind of describes mine tbh!

Never been able to pin it down exactly but I have seen evidence of occasional leakage in the base from under the detergent drawer on almost every ISE 10 that I have opened up in the past. We have very soft water in this area so over sudsing (if there is such a word) is quite common, especially on hotter washes.

So, a new door seal appears to have fixed the issue….. Will keep an eye on it just to be certain.
