ParticipantHi, I have an ISE10 1606w washing machine that has worked well until very recently. Over the last week or two the machine has stopped developed a fault, it seems to me to fail to complete each cycle within a program, or possibly it completes each cycle but does not start the next one (e.g. it washes but does not move on to the rinse cycle).
I’m not getting any error codes and if I manually move it on to the next cycle it seems to run ok but then gets stuck again once that cycle has run (including the door not opening when it’s finished spinning).
Can anybody suggest what might be the problem? I’m understand that ISE have stopped trading and that my 10 year guarantee is probably now worthless so it would be great to see if there is anything I can do before I call in an engineer.Thanks.

The problems have just got somewhat worse.
First it has stopped running all cycles, it will start each time and make a few noises but then just stop, sometimes displaying a static time and sometimes with the timer going blank.
To top it off I thought I would turn it off at the mains but when pulling it out from under the counter it seems the mains lead had become trapped behind the flooring we had installed a few years ago and the mains cable has been pulled out of the back of the machine. So now I need to work out how to wire it back up again. There are 2 wires in the cable; an earth (yeallow & green), a blue one and a thicker grey one. Does anyone have an image to show where they should be fitted?
Thanks again.

Hi
Earth is earth , blue is neutral , grey is live.
There is a mains filter like a capacitor top right looking from the front. The terminals should be marked. You will need to remove the lid. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS TOTALLY DISCONNECTED FROM THE MAINS.
Where about are you in the country ?
