ParticipantMy current dead washing machines dimensions are:
H=82
W=60
D=54It is an integrated Zanussi which fits like a glove into its hole with about 4cm clearance above it.
I’ve decided I want an ISE10 1607. Will it fit? I understand that the ISE isn’t integrated but I’m prepared forgo the aesthetics for functionality.
I know this sounds like a stupid question but the advert for 1607 say that it may be subject to change, I wonder if the dimensions might vary too.

KeymasterHi,
No, the dimensions won’t change I’m afraid, they are set in stone.
Your problem would appear to be the depth more than anything and it could really limit what you can put in there without it protruding into the kitchen.

D=54Just a thought, have you taken those measurements from the manual or from the aperture itself?
Integrated laundry does tend to be more shallow on the depth than freestanding as they sit just behind the line of the units to allow the fitted door to be level with the others.

My old machine actually measures as 540mm.
I noticed that Meile spec up the size of the machine they stipulate (includes gap from the wall). What is this standard ‘gap from the wall size’ and does the ISE10’s depth include a ‘gap from the wall’ when it stipulates depth? Or is it the actual depth of the machine itself (if that makes sense).
The gap from my wall to the end of my work surface is 595mm, but the drainage pipe is at the back as is the water inlet pipe which protrudes 40-50mm or so.

The 1607 is 585mm deep front to back. I can’t remember on the new model as I wasn’t paying attention to it at the time, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same as the previous 1606 where there is a protrusion at the top for the lid, fill and waste allowing the machine to be installed hard against the wall.
I’d have to check it with factory but I’m 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that’s the case.

Miele include an overhang out past the cabinet of the machine which is 32mm (gap to wall measurement). The ISE is quoted at 585 with the door closed, I do not know if this is the total depth but I`m sure someone will tell us.
On the plumbing side you could have the waste and supply pipes resited in an adjacent base unit giving you plenty of room to install the ISE.
HTH 🙂

Thanks.. I now know that the Meiles include a 32mm gap. I just hope the ISE10 incorporates a similar gap or I may be forced to get a Meile instead of the sexy ISE10.
