The fact of the matter is that its far easier to get finnished product from manufacturers than it is to get tech and spares info.
The other thing is if you can actually remember the proto type of the 1st ISE 5 was different to what we actually got. The facia ended up a complete mirror image of the production model we actually recieved.
I wont bore you with the cost and time involved in producing manuals but suffice to say that we only get one shot at it and we want to get it right for you.
Rest assured that we will always continue to back up our guys in the field, its the ethos of what we are about. believe it or not the second we decide to go with a new product, the very first thing I always ask for is the tech and spares info.
You’ll be pleased to hear that we have almost completed the manual for the ISE 10, theres just a little tidying up and the spares list to left to do. The only reason we have this Tech Info is the fact that Ken and I went to the factory in Sweden a few weeks ago and fetched it back with us or we would still be waiting for our importers to get it for us. All this I hasten to add is after 6 months of begging and pleading.
We are still repeatedly enquiring about info on the ISE 2 and we will keep badgering them till we get it.
In a perfect world we should be able to aquire this info with the proto types but manufacturers like to see you shift a few containers of their product first to see if you are serious before they release the family jewels ie Tech Info.
Bear with us Lads we will get there. I know we are not as quick as you’d like. The truth is that we are not as quick as I would like.
We have already planned to do the manuals in downloads, dvd, and print formats as a matter of urgency.

On the leaflets, we’re on the case with that as well.
The big problem is that we have to wait for a pukka production model for photography because, as Sean says, the prototypes and pre-production ones always differ. The last thing I wanted was to be printing up 10,000 leaflets with a photo of another machine on them aoart from anything else so no-one has to say stuff like, “the one you’ll get will look slightly different”. It’d just put people off IMO.
The good news is we now obviously have the ISE2 final production, so that’s done and photographed well enough for the purpose. The ISE10 should be done in the next week or so and we can get on with that. ISE5 is obviously long since done.
The idea was to do an A5 sized gatefold leaflet with a load of machines on them but John and I keep leaning toward a single one for ISE2 and the gatefold to cover 5 and 10 with more info on it.
But then there’s the dishwasher… or dishwashers…

Info pack????? I’ll have one please. now using the online registration, difficult to stick a label on that. 😉

The poly bag with the instructions in has got a sheet of labels attached to it. I peel one off, stick it on the job sheet, then fill it in on the forms I down loaded, ready to be posted with the cheques.
No, I didn’t get a DVD. Mind you, if it’s Sean and Gegsy, am I missing much? :rotfl:

Have you tried to enter the full ISE2 serial number into an Excel document cell, it comes up with a totally different number. I got round it by entering the first two ’00’ followed by a ‘-‘

PS. I agree with Chris, the door handle does look and feel ‘iffy’ 🙂

I’ll make sure you get the new updated DVD Chris soon as. It’s okay, Sean’s not in it much and Gegsy just isn’t. 😆
I’ll also try to have a look at the spreadsheet, didn’t think of that. 😕
Meanwhile, if you highlight the box and change it to “text” IIRC then save it then it should be fine.
