ModeratorI have installed the odd ISE 5 in the past 😉 , over 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of these sales came about as a result of me leaving the leaflets with the customer. I realise that there is a huge amount on the ISE admin plate but I will struggle to push ISE2 or even 10 without this sort of backup.
Also if I do get customers for ISE2 & 10 it will be rather embarrassing to go along to do an installation and have to get the user manual from the customer to show her how to use the machine.
I do stress that I appreciate the fantastic work done by John and all the ISE team and I’m sure that if the need arises I could ‘wing it’ but I would feel rather exposed without the sort of tech info/videos/manuals that accompanied the ISE5 launch.
I assume there is a timetable for this material, just wondered where we are up to. 🙂

The 10 is completely intuitive – absolute doddle to demonstrate.
Haven’t had a 2 yet (c’mon – I’ve got orders…. 😀 ).
Tech info would be good though.

Yes Jim I have to agree. I am expecting my 1st delivery of ISE 2’s next week. One is already sold but I have another customer who wants more info.ie dimensions, min wash temp. wash times etc. and I have to keep putting her off. Ken you did promise us a pdf file of info???? We need something to print which we can leave with customers for both the 2& 10

Thanks for that Jim. It seems our request regarding ISE2 info have been answered on the other forum on the “For Those That Missed It” thread. Thanks for that Ken. Jim, I wonder if you or anyone else has any comment on my earlier post on that thread regarding the retail price of the ISE2. Perhaps a separate thread on that subject may be better.

ParticipantHi Guys,
Sorry I am late on this thread.
We only get a propper ISE 2 to Ken for photography this week ourselves (we had to wait for them to come into Hi-way on Thursday). And we are now expecting the correct ISE 10s on 2nd November (I’ll do another post on that saga under that thread), but we have point of sale card leave behinds ready to go with those to as soon as we have one to photograph.
We have leaflets for ISE 2 ready to go to print as soon as Ken has photgraphed them in Hi-Definition.
They should be with you in about 2 weeks though we have done a PDF file which I’ll send to you both now.
Thanks for your patients, see you soon
John

Well the first ISE2 is going in tomorrow ( along with three ISE5’s) 8)
I will have to wing it when demonstrating the ISE2 though. I don’t suppose anyone has a copy of the user manual they can scan for me?

After you undo the bolts, Jim, shove them back in again – the rubber stoppers are real swines to get out otherwise.

Yeah, it’s all pretty obvious. Turn dial, press start, door light goes out……
It’s actually a nice little machine – quite quiet.

Did the install on my first ISE2 today after the other three ISE5’s.
TBH the transit bolts came out easier than the ISE5 ones.
However, at the risk of coming across as a moaner, or even worse, getting the dreaded STFU from on high 😉 I really think we should have the required info in our hands by now.
This customer, quite rightly considering it was a new machine, stood behind me asking, ” what is that button for, how do I do this or that” I had no bloody idea as I was still trying to work out how to reset the machine. I would have looked a bit stupid if I had asked her for the instruction book to try and explain things.
I soon sussed that you have to press the start button, then turn the control to OFF, then to another programme to reset. simple enough, but not something you should be finding out with a customer breathing down your neck.
I now have 109 ISE5 machines on my patch for which I have the full tech info, videos, spares etc, and one machine that is out there with SFA. This is not a situation I am to happy with.
And one other thing, how much of the 19 😯 digit serial number of the ISE 2 do you need. If you enter it into Excel it converts to an error number.

Peel off the label and stick it on the form. There’s a load of them in the info pack…….. What ISE5 video? I ain’t seen nuffin.
The 2 is OK – think I might like a door handle and a door seal on board to cover my tail. The control panel graphic is rather compacted for the programmes, but using it is reasonably intuitive.
I suspect it’s nothing more than it’s meant to be – a half decent budget washer.
