ParticipantDoes anyone have any experience of the ISE2 yet? I’m considering buying one, if they’re readily available. Does anyone in this site in the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire area stock them (I’m aware of the ‘stockists’ from the website). It’s hard to get a defintitive price on how much one would be. Who is this machine actually made by?

Still looking before I take the plunge, has any one had experience of an ISE2? Seems you can get one for 250-280 now but love to know if it’s any good and who it’s made by. Penguin45 has put me onto Gorenje too (which I’m impressed with) so I’d love to know what would be best for max 300 out of an ISE2, Gorenje, Fagor, Baumatic or Bosch.

We sell both – I would suggest it rather depends on what concept you follow. If you want a machine that is difficult to access for repair but has a larger tub and comes with a two year parts and labour guarantee and might be repaired by the seller, then you could consider the Gorenje. If however you want a machine that is fully repairable will be serviced by the supplier but has a smaller tub and also a two year P+L warranty from a green company then the ISE2 is up your street. Bosch is also another good make but would cost you more for a decent model.

Whereabouts in Bucks are you and I can tell you where the nearest dealer with stock is?

I’m in Aylesbury. Still open to any other ideas of sub-£300 good value reliable machines! Even considering the secondhand route though I guess you never know really what you’re buying, but a nice AEG fairly locally went on eBay the other day for about 85.

I’ll have to check in the morning for you when I get access to who has what where.
Buying second hand is not a good idea. In a recent study, 85{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}+ of all whitegoods are replaced as they have a problem, very few for any other reason. It’s not hard to work out why they are so cheap on Ebay.
