ISE5/2

Had a customer on the phone saying that the machine washes ok but at the end of the wash it sits and makes funny noises, by what the customer says the drain pump tries to start up also it sounds like its going to fill up with water. All this goes on for about 5 mins or so then it stops and you can open the door then. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing this.

Interesting, when you say ‘had it before’ bazza do you mean on ISE5 mk 2 or a similar Vestel machine?

ISE2 will pulse the valves with a dodgy d/int – had a Ballack doing it a while ago as well.

I had a bulletin from Servis the other day stating this problem and changing the door lock will rectify it.

Just a note of thanks to Ken and Sean for your very quick response to getting the part sent out ( it arrived the next morning in post and you know how late in the day it was ordered) for this job and to all the other lads for your input. They were one very happy customer to get it repaired as soon as it was, along with that they said its the best machine they have ever had 😀
