Customer getting F05 on new install. This is supposedly no fill. Machine will fill once and operate; drains, then the error code comes up on the second fill. Machine has extended drain hose (~8′) to reach sink coupling.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi Chris,

    F05 =
    Inadequate water
    Supply

    Make sure the water input
tap is totally open and that
    there is no water cut.

    Close the water input tap,
    separate the water input
hose from the tap and clean
    the filter at the connection
    end of the hose.

Water inlet valve can be out
    of order

There can be a problem with
    the cable connection of water
    inlet valve.

Floater switch can be out of
order or have a problem with
    the cable connection.

    Pressure switch of the heater
    casing group can have a
    mechanical or cable
    connection problem.

    Circulation pump can be out
of order or have a problem
    with the cable connection.

Electronic card can be out of
    order.

The other obvious experiment here is, is it possible to try it without the extention piece to see if it works. It may be timing out on empty, or the pump is not up to pumping the extra head of water.

Customers – got to love them. When I installed this, helpful customer added the jointing piece for the extended hose. Got back today and the joint had separated. Hose flat to the floor behind the kick boards, water everywhere. It’d fill once, drained out then just syphoned the incoming water out.

    Chris.
