ModeratorJust had a call from a customer with this Vestel machine showing E06.
According to manual it sounds as though it is motor/module related.
Anyone else had an E06 fault code yet ?
Jim.

Wierd one this, went this afternoon. Machine still had the last load of washing in it. didn’t pull it out at first, switched on, set to spin and the motor started to revolve perfectly. 😕
Decided to check out the inverter board connections just in case.
Pulled the board down and couldn’t be certain if the seven pin PCB to motor connecter block was loose or had come adrift as I removed the board.
Made sure it was secure, refitted and set to wash and there was no motor action and E06 came up, did the same on spin. 😥
Have ordered a motor and board.

Went back to this one this morning.
Once again set it to spin before moving the machine, this time the motor did not run and E06 displayed.
Replaced inverter board and set to a wash cycle.
Motor started to run but I noticed that after three or four minutes it was only turning in a clockwise ( I think ) direction, it stopped for less than two seconds and then turned clockwise again.
Customer stood at the side of me, :rolls: Whilst outwardly showing a serene air of confidence, inside I was thinking ‘Holy S**t, what the hell is wrong with it now. 😯
Cancelled programme, drained and reset to spin. It then did several steady. slow reverse tumbles before going into spin perfectly. I reset it to a wash programme and this time it worked perfectly, ‘Phew’
Inner Karma restored. 8)
No idea why this happened unless the spin programme had not been completely erased from memory when I tried it right at the beginning. ❓
Would still very much like a wiring diagram though. Checked all of the DVD’s and can find no sign of one on them. 😥

Quite a few of the Vestel ISE 5’s I installed only turned clockwise. I never found the reason and it’s not in the tech info. Fortunately I haven’t had one back yet………..:innocent:

I noticed the same on the one I changed the motor and invertor.
I hadn’t looked closely at drum rotation on one before so I feel you pain Jim, the inner panic subsided as the days went by. 🙂
Jim look on the bright side, you didn’t have to change the motor. 😉
