Am I correct??
The pump and only the pump will run if the door is open and a cycle is started.
The machine will then abort to E01.
While the pump is running the module is carrying out a diagnostic check.
Why I ask is a customer has just phoned in a bit of a panic that her son has just started the machine with the door open.

You’ve got approx 20 seconds before the door locks.
I use it as a selling point:
“Get that red sock out of the whites before it starts.”If the time is exceeded, just shut the door and it will start.
