Our machine here has broken again. Last time it was E01 (door closure), solved with a £7 (IIRC) part from ISE.

But now they have ceased trading.

Any suggestions as to diagnosis / repair of E06? Im expecting the motor to be a little different from the 240v units im used to.

Also, any idea as to who bought up ISE’s remaining spares?

My day job is analogue electronics, so i have background, but no idea as to washing machines.

    Thank you,
    Julian

Sorry for the slow reply –

The SN (along a barcode inside the door, and on the rear of the machine) is –

    00616808000530050157

The, umm, Basic identifier (?) code (on the rear of the machine) is –

    NN1647CV4

    Thank you,

Just wondering if anyone has any further comment on the availability of parts for the ISE range?

    Thank you,

Not sure about other models parts availability but your machine is a Vestel manufactured unit and spares (except pcb) are readily available for it I believe.

Re: ISE5 Washing machine E06 (motor fault)

E06 is a motor error, essentially the main control board cannot detect movement in the motor and there can be a number of reasons for that.

    Tacho faulty or the wiring.

    Wiring to the motor.

    Motor itself faulty.

From memory the motor should be available but, not exactly a cheap part to replace.
