    Hi 🙂

I have an LG F1402Fds5 which after a few years with no problems has decided to stop working!

(No error messages just no power going to it)

I have done all the normal(?) things like check the plug, fuse and socket all are ok.

I am thinking that as there is no power is getting to it then the Power PCB has blown however would like to know if this is likely. My reasoning is if it was a main board fault then it would show some
Life ie error codes but not sure if the case.

Basically would like some advice before I buy the part!:-)

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

Don’t buy the part! Instead, remove the board (take photos of the connections so you don’t cross wires putting it back 😉 ) then carefully inspect the board for damage. If it has ‘blown’ again don’t buy a new one as you will need to determine what caused it to fail. Was it the motor? The door lock? Heater perhaps? Or just simply a surface component failure on the PCB?

A lot to determine first before you “….buy the part!” 😀
