ParticipantHi, I have a Neff which is around 10 years old.
I have the instructions, but it is an integrated NEFF and not easy to remove. The model is not on the instructions, but the booklet states number 9000 050 262 (8410-1)
I put the machine on to wash over night and this morning came down to unload and no lights were on the display panel. At the end of the cycle the end light and the program selected light is displayed. I have obviously firstly tried to turn off and on to see if that activated any lights but nothing doing. I have taken the cover of the pump to ensure clean and whilst there was some dirt in the area the pump spins freely and doesn’t appear to be stuck in any way.
I have noticed when I turn the on/off button on you can hear an audible hum, but nothing happens, and no lights. the hum goes as soon as the on/off button is pressed again.
Any ideas of what steps to take to try and rectify?
Thank you in advance
Simon

The all important model number can be found on the inner stainless door lining adjacent the door latch. Without it we cannot be specific as to what the fault is other than it sounds likely the base tray is flooded and the flood safety device has activated.
Please give the model number (ENR no).

Power off, then remove the plinth and check for water lying in the base.

Hi,
Sorry have been away on business, I have time to look now.
So there is water in the base of the unit when you open the dishwasher door. I have taken the decorative kitchen plinth off and there is no viewing of the internals of the dishwasher, what should I remove to assess water lying in the base?December 11, 2015 at 4:45 pm #433208Martin

The metal plinth has screws behind the adjustable plinth brackets (which also have to be removed).

Hi, I am trying to get the metal plinth off, but not so easy with the built in facia on it, however I can’t remember how I affixed it, please can you let me know how to remove the decorative facia?

There are 2 long screws that hold it just down from the top of the door plus 2 screws behind the blanking plug on the side of the stainless door panel.

Ok, there is no water in the base and I have the side of the machine off also and the red float has not raised to shut system off.
Any idea on next move?
