What you really mean is that after 1/2 hour at the bar you are incapable of getting to the lounge.

If my memory is correct there are three bar stools just inside the door off the main bar area that myself, Roly16 and A N Other occupied after enjoying our bar meal, excellent view, even if it was over Bryans shoulder most of the time. 😆

Yeah, Bryan’s constant “flashing” in a public bar was a bit of a distraction 😆

Just booked a room. 😀 It will be good to meet everybody again.
Are you planning anything earlier in the day or do we just arrive for the evening?

KeymasterWe have the meeting room all day on the Friday Bob so, to allow people time to get there, we were thinking on kicking off about 10:30.

Great. I’ll be there.
Anyone coming from the south east? I’ve got room for a passenger.
Bob
Edit… Sorry, I won’t be going straight back on the Saturday now so its probably no use for a lift for anyone.

Got a call from Mike today, apparently we’re in the restaurant now. Something about floods.
That’s awfully close to the the bar. 😕

Is there anything in particular that you guys want to talk about on Friday?
I’m going to take a wild guess that you’ll want to be talking about a certain technical information thread.
Probably a fair bit of chat about some new machines or something that’s going on.
Perhaps a few minutes spent updating on certain things/events going on with UKW.
Anything else stand out?

Ken
The title and position of this thread doesn’t really say what it is about 😕
Are you trying to keep numbers down? or perhaps only trying to attract the core members?. If not it might be prudent to post this on the general trade forum.

KeymasterWhat we were trying to do was keep it small, yes.
We were looking to get repairers there primarily as, whilst anyone is welcome to pop along, we haven’t invited anyone bar repairers this time at all. But with the posts to the mailing list and also to all the ISE agents I would hope that pretty much everyone knows about this meeting.

I assume that the latest state of play regarding WEEE may be on the agenda. 😉

K.Now what on earth gives you that idea? 😯
I’d also like to talk about the feedback I’ve had from customers on the ISE machine.

When I saw that this meeting was scheduled for March the 16th (which is me birthday) I regretfully discounted the possibility of attending as the wife would undoubtedly object to me gallivanting off on my own at such a special time.
However, after receiving a reminder about it the other day, I casually mentioned it to the wife who to my surprise offered no objections. This delightful turnaround is due mostly to the fact that she’s feeling out of sorts with me and going through a mid life crisis. She’s going through a phase (temporary I hope) where she’s not overly bothered about me not being around. So, I’m free to come. Unfortunately though all the rooms have gone and no one’s replied to my email at the hotel enquiring if they could squeeze me in.
Still, I can still pop down, but will miss the most important part – the drinking session.
