hello folks, its good to be here.

i have an indesit wixl123 that is driving me crazy… it stopped draining about a week ago and after some research on here i learned it could be the drain pump and how to take it off… off came the filter bit at the front and i found some coins and hairclips, then i took the pump off and found plastic coins blocking the pipe from drum to pump – great methinks, i’ve fixed it. it kind of worked on some programmes but grrrrrr noise and flashing 2 and 4 lights sometimes before it stopped altogether.
it drains out to a pipe that runs from the shed to the kitchen outside drain… i attached a garden hose to this and confirmed water flows out and it does but whenever i connect the washing mc drain hose back to it the mc will not drain, disconnect and into a bucket at height no problem, it flies out – what the flippetty flip could this be??? :rolls:

hmmmm… i put the garden hose to the drain pipe and there seems to be some back pressure but the water does run out the other end into the outside grid, what would explain this? i wish i had a drain rod so i could confirm that
