    Hi Guys

It’s the CREDA Simplicity Dryer (T622CW) again.

She Who Must Be Obeyed has told me that it will not longer works the way it did – as in, it won’t tumble with a full load, but will work as good as ever if she only puts half the [her] usual amount into it. Don’t know how much SWMBO considers a full or half load – but we’ve had the machine and number of years and this is the first time it has acted like this.

Before I start taking the back off – any idea what it can be?

    Cheers

    George

As the weather is getting colder and damper need to get it going again.

    Motor capacitor failing a possibility.

NB. You won’t see much by taking the small back off. Right hand side panel looking from front. 😉

Thanks for the advice -apologies for the late reply, its been manic at work last week – hardly been home. I’ve now been told be SWMBO, when it happened again yesterday- that if she leaves it the mechanical times goes around and after sometime it will continue the cycle. She didn’t think to mention this when she first told me about the problem.

Is this also a symptom of capacitor – or do I have two concurrent faults going on.

    Thanks again

    George
