IZ16s counterweight

been to this Zanussi IZ16S

rear weight has disintegrated

weight has crumbled as if not enough concrete has been put in the mix. when you pick up the pieces and squeeze it just crumbles in your hands.
this weight has broken off without damaging the outer tub

surely this must be a bad manufacturing fault anyone know if their was any recall for this as i cant believe I have the only one

I’ve come across a couple of similar models (washer/dryers mostly though) where the rear weight has disintegrated.

Here is an IZ16S from earlier this month in fact.

The bad news is that if it’s a 3 hole counterweight you will need to replace the tub rear half as well (so I’m led to believe anyway?:con:)

thats fun isnt it you would think Zann should take responsibility ofr this one will cost customer a packet to replace complete tub
