My JLWM 1407 won’t complete its cycle in Eco 40º or adjacent settings. Machine fills & drains quickly, spins, tumbles, etc. Pump clear & clean, drain hose & waste pipe clean. I did remove a rusty hairgrip from pump after machine efficiently completed a maintenance wash at 90º (no clothes)and an Eco 60º wash with clothes this week. But today it won’t complete at Eco 40º or subsequent attempts at quick 40º to finish the job. Machine stops with water still in tub, before the rinse stage, with conditioner still in the tray. It’s been like this for a few weeks. Any ideas? Thanks!

Not heating then by the sound of it. Check the heating element.

Thanks, Martin, I will. But the problem’s been around for a while and washes at higher temperatures, e.g. 90º and 60º seem to work ok. This is what makes it so confusing!

Could be that the air pressure vessel is clogged and the higher water temperatures cycles loosen the gunge enough for it to operate as it should? But whatever you do to clean it out DO NOT BLOW into the analogue pressure switch, leave well alone. Just clean the rubber hose and air vessel.
