    Hello Can you help? My 3.5 year old John Lewis washing machine occasionally stops mid cycle – if I restart it it generally continues to completion. The repair man says new control unit at £214.38 ouch!! I notice on this site that 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of control units are not faulty! Any ideas for my next step?

    from what I am seeing new board approx. £150

    would need the pnc number off the machine to check precise part no

    did the engineer check for any fault codes?

    when it stops are there any light flashing ?

    what was it doing when it stopped or what does it do when you restart ?
