    Hi, my JLDW1221 dishwasher frequently fails to complete the wash and displays code 20 “The appliance does not drain water”.
    In fact it HAS DRAINED, at least so that no water is visible in the machine. I have cleaned and checked the filters, the drain hose and the connection under the sink, just to be sure there are no blockages.

    Could the problem be a faulty detector? Is “not draining” detected by the same pressure switch that prevents overfilling or by something else? Advice on how to find and fix the problem would be much appreciated.
