This has been discussed quite a few times here in the past couple of years. But finding those discussions is proving difficult. Relying therefore on my colander of a memory, I think this is probably pressure switch related. Hmm something coming back now about sump blockages – colourcatchers that sort of thing, not interfering with drainage so much but flapping about and causing p/switches to give conflicting signals. I’d try disconnecting p/sw hoses, having a feel around sump hose – could even be that damn’ table tennis ball stuck, blocked drain hose end, or p/sw (probably the anal-logic one – see if I’m allowed to say that) itself. Try giving it a gentle tap – disconnect and reconnect etc. May even be loom fault.
