    Hi folks,
    just at a JLWD1612 91460470001 serial 60700180.
replaced a faulty and overheated drier solenoid but cannot get drier to work beyond locking door and rotating the drum. Checked insulation of wash and dry elements, tried a new drier board and drier thermistor But still can’t get drier fully functional. No errors flagged in diagnostic cycle. Aaaaaarrrrgghh….

how long did you leave it as most later units take about 5 mins to start the drier as they check water first

    Hi Dave,
    sorry I didn’t realize I had a response!
    Thanks for that.
I’ve left it 10 mins and more but it doesn’t do more than turn the drum.

normally on the dryers of this type it takes in water from the dryer valve, then pumps it out then starts
I take it that its not doing that

do the dryer components work in test mode ?

if you dont have tech access let me have your email and i will send you all thats linked to this machine

    Dave
