    Evening Gents
Looked at this heat pump dryer today, first I’ve seen.
From diagnostics, I get 5 red flashes but 14 green flashes?? That’s totally thrown me, I thought green was the second digit and could be no higher than 9?? The actual fault is that the customer selects a drying prog and presses start, nothing happens and then after a few seconds the display goes from the expected duration time of the selected prog to 0?
Any help or manuals etc would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks Jason

Is the door closing? Door striker (that makes switch) maybe broken off?

    Hi Seamy

Yes striker is fine and door closing. I’ve been sent a manual so I’ll study that and see if it becomes clearer!

    Thanks

    To conclude this one.

After kindly being sent a manual. I went fully into the diagnostics and, whilst still slightly ambiguous, error seemed to point to motor triac and therefore, motherboard. The estimate to repair was more than the customer wanted to pay so we have quoted for a new Bosch dryer.

£600 quid dryer that, which motor do you think fault code points to, as there are 4 motors:- Compressor motor, drum rotation motor, compressor cooling fan motor, condensate pump motor.
What was the error code when you accessed diagnostics out of interest in case we come across it again.
Had only previously had to change a capacitor on one of these before and one had a door striker broken which threw me for a while.
