John Lewis Fridge/Freezer JLBIFF1802 (925771740 07)

Customer said that the fridge not getting cold, as its a frost free I advised her to turn it off for 24 hours then try again
It still is not working
I had a look today and the freezer fan seems to come on intermittently. (it comes on for a couple of minutes then off formostatr a few seconds etc)
The off period seems to get longer
Could it be a thermostat or module ?
I don’t do many fridges so any help would be appreciated

did you strip it and check for ice ? if no the recommendation for ice build up in the hidden tubes is switch off, doors open for 2 days. if she switched off for 24 with doors closed you have no chance

also there seems to be a fan in the fridge as well. Have you checked that

yes I took the back panel off and its completely clear of ice
the fan in the fridge came on when I pressed the button but the freezer fan was intermittent

since its a self defrosting fridge the fan will rum every time you open and close the door but to get to the correct temp the fan has to run until the correct temp is reached
