ParticipantHi,
I have just taken delivery of cosmetic second JLDWW 1205 from an independent supplier but it has a fault: On start up it drains for 2-3 mins and then comes up with error code .10. This happens on all cycles. The user manual says this is “No Water Issue”, however, it can not be the Water supply as everything checks out OK and it pumps out water for the 1st 3 mins.
The shop said that they tested it and it was fine. I have tried tilting it to the left (about 45 deg) but nothing came out. I understand that is most likely made by AEG and I have a refund option but would like to keep the machine if there is a straight forward fix. Any advice would be most welcome. Many Thanks
Rog

The error code means that the machine has not detected water fill within the time allowed. All programmes start with a drain sequence, followed by fill. As the machine is new, you are covered by warranty – however installation problems are chargeable.
Check the routing of the fill hose, ensuring that it is not trapped or kinked, and the function of the actual tap. Those little blue levers crack, so that when you turn the water on, the lever moves and the tap body doesn’t………..

Penguin45,
many thanks for the swift response. The hose supplied is a small bore semi rigid plastic type but I have already removed it and checked the inline plastic filter in the pipe & the filter in the inlet to the dishwasher – all was well with plenty of pressure/flow from the connection. The Dishwasher must be getting the water in as there is plenty of water pumped out when the cycle starts. From what I understand something is preventing the dishwasher detecting the water in the machine or it is not allowing it reach the correct level – the wash cycle therefore does not start. I am happy to remove the LH side panel & have a look (with the power off). Can you point me in the right direction and advise what to check for?Regards

As you are certain that there is water flowing, you should use your guarantee. As a professional repairer, I can assure you that I always know when someone has been in an appliance before me – in your case this would invalidate your warranty.
