Customer phoned up to tell me his larder freezer has water pouring out the back of his unit. Purchased in 2009.
Temp set on the panel was -19*C and measured inside as minus 18 – 19* C with my thermocouple. Fan unit running smoothly but the rear plastic holder on top of the pump was completely full and pouring down the side of the unit?
Drain pipe was clear and the cooler at the top was not frozen up.
Any ideas why there was so much water in the evaporator on top of the pump and pouring onto the floor. Elderly couple had not suddenly put loads of warm food in over the last 2 days?
Syringed out all the water and then put the power back on without any noise from iced up blades? Temp started to come down within a few minutes.
