    hello there
i have a john lewis dryer jltdc05 which lights up with the times for drying cycles but when i press the start button nothing happens i cant hear a click from the relay on the board either
after lookinh at it i thought there was a problem with the start button not touching the switch behind the facia panel so i pressed the switch directly and the display just comes up with err in the display
    any common faults on these
do the door locks go etc?
    regards
    mike

Assuming its a condenser dryer, have you checked the microswitch at the bottom near the condenser?

The one in the float chamber will……. Usually needs a light chop with a Stanley knife to free off the float.
