Any prog selected E50 flashes up. I think this relates to a motor/pcb fault?
Have tested motor-ok. Board looks ok? Suspect a new one is req`d….
Just read another submission suggesting the motor triac?
What/where would I find this component-inside the motor?

motor triac is on the pcb

most washing machine boards use them to contol motors you will find them on the heatsink. this should be the same
as for the fault code this is the consumer code to see actual code you will need to go into engineering mode not sure how to do it on T Dryers but maybe some kind person will enlighten us both

Just slighty differs to how you access the washing machines.
first turn the main knob one turn to the right and wait until the display lights up then within five seconds press and hold both the start/pause button and the next button to the left of it in together and keep them held until the led’s begin to scroll then keep turning the main dial a notch to the right to go through the various test stages. To exit turn the main dial to the off position twice. With the washing machines you press and hold in the two buttons first before turning the main dial.

    e51 is motor triac

look for earth faults on motor first ( had a few washers with this fault where condensation on motor was the problem )

if that fails then find triac on panel and change it. will be on a heatsink so not difficult to find

if all this fails maybe beyond repair
