Hi,
I have a JLTDC07 tumble dryer which runs intermittently, it sometimes start and runs but lumpily an then eventually stopping. Sometimes it will quite happily run all day, having looked at the part diagram ( http://www.ransomspares.co.uk/diagram/j … 617901{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}29/ ) it has a start capacitor which i could replace.
I’ve removed the side panels and the drums turns as freely as I would expect given it’s weight, the belt looks in good condition.
Does replacing the start capacitor seem like a good idea ?
Replacing the motor looks like a challenge and given the cost of the motor £140 I might be better of replacing the tumble dryer ?
Any advice appreciated.
