ParticipantWould really appreciate some ideas on this dryer (Prod No.916096337/09)
Fitted a new module to replace old one that was completely dead. New one powered up ok with display, but condenser light on and ERR appears in the display when start button pressed and nothing happens (Red led on Start button flashes).
Diagnostic cycle proved that everything works, motor, heater, pump but on one setting (Just about 5 o’clock on the dial) E32 appeared. Checked carbon brush connections and all appears to be ok. Surely not a faulty module. Any ideas what might be causing it? Is there a sensor for the condenser to cause the condenser light to come on?
Thoughts or a circuit diagram would be very much appreciated

Thanks for your reply Dave.
Have bought a configured module but part No. 97391609633702/7.
Any ideas if that number is suitable?

I’ve bought the wrong module haven’t I!

Thanks for putting me right Dave. Maybe it’s time to retire before I give Connect all of my pension!
Just before I order another module, Prod No.916096337/02 has a microswitch to prove the condenser door is closed. This switch is omitted on Prod 916096337/09. With the help of a wiring diagram, maybe a simple link between two contacts on the board would provide the signal it is looking for. Can anyone help?

All up and running now. I inserted a link into the plug on the board to tell it that the condenser door was closed and away it went.
Very grateful for your help Dave
