Having ‘decided’ on a Neff oven, I am now tempted by this:

    http://www.johnlewis.com/230473543/Product.aspx

It’s got a three-year guarantee and the JL lady told me that it’s made to ‘German specifications’. What do you think?

    It’s an Electrolux.

John Lewis really annoy me by alluding that their appliances are “German”. They’re not, end of story. 😉

You could buy the same or almost the same with an Electrolux, Zanussi or AEG, probably for less.

does it come with a remote control to operate it?

of course, im being silly, but actually – thats an idea as it would free up internal cavity space if you didnt have to make room for airspace to prevent overheating of electronic regulators etc… hmmm.

openspace? pah. bring on bosch maxxspace. you watch this space 😀

    Hi.

I think this one is made in France. I am no expert in Geography but if I’m right, I am sure that cannot then be German.

Unless we actually lost the war. 😯

    ACHTUNG!

Mind you, they only say it is made to German spec, not that it is actually German manufactured. These sales guys have more spin than Shane Warne.
