John Lewis washer dryer 914600609/00

This washer dryer will randomly trip the electric.
I can detect a earth fault then it disappears.
Ive disconnected the wash element and dryer element – starts washing and trip after 5 minutes
Reset the trip and it starts to wash OK then trips again after a few minutes
Its not the mains filter and ive replaced the 13amp plug
The motor is a induction type – I have not disconnect the motor
Any help would be apprieated

have you tried a different socket

sparking in the socket can cause tripping

Yes tried a different socket in a different room via a extension lead

have you had a close look at the harness

Dryer elements or the dryer TOC are what I usually find causing tripping with Zanussi based washer dryers.
so much so, I carry both parts now.
