KeymasterIs JTM going to the wall? If so, is it time for Network DASA to swoop in and nab their client base? 8)

ParticipantI suspect that Powerhouse will give them problems. But again I received what we expected last month.

Is the rumour mill working overtime ?Dunno I always heard that they were under financed and the rates were crap so I avoided them like the plauge TBH, plus they along with ISDAL f**ked up the GIAS work a fair old bit between them so I had no time for them. I will not do work for some third party at a lower rate than I got direct on principal as I can live without these leeches. I could afford to tell GIAS to stick it where the sun don’t shine and I can certainly afford to live without plonkers like JTM. 🙄
See, I do have principals, even if they are misplaced at times but sometimes you just have to take a stand. 😉
As for the rumour mill, who knows, but there has been a few complaints about JTM & money over the course and Ted was on about a queue of them at that service thing in Luton.

ParticipantYou probably already saw my post in the Rumour Mill about JTM.
Because we stopped NESN at the end of August, the work was passed to an existing NESN agent, who also works for JTM.
Fow whatever reason Andy Craw now thinks these other guys are useless, (Coverplan overload again more like 😉 ) and wants us to work for JTM in our area.
TBH after what I’ve heard ,I’m not going to do any work for them, I’d rather see the back of arseholes like JTM, NESN etc, so if I don’t work for them and they piss their customers off, it won’t be too long before they are kicked in to touch.
More direct work for us 😀
Dave.

KeymasterOn Stop
We have had JTM on stop for a number of months now due to payment irregularities. Thek keep trying to pass us bits of gas work they cant get coverage for. Still chasing payments and they come up with every excuse under the sun not to pay you. The favorite being they have never received your invoice even though you have sent it a number of times. Fell out big style with the “lady” with attitude in accounts the other day. I would advise everyone to stay well clear if they can. Also what out for alledged recalls. Months later they send you new jobs through authorising payments as nothing to do with previous job, then thefirst visity start rejecting invoices and denying they authorised. Ted warned people about his feelings years ago, afraid to admit it but he was right. Clever old git. Must be his many years of experience

I think I’d like that in writing before I agreed to do any calls on that basis.
Especially with JTM’s record.

KeymasterI’d have to agree with Dave on that one, in writing or a no-go IMHO.
But, what about the work that’s already been done or is in progress, will that get paid for as well? If not I know what I’d be telling them to with it! 😉

KeymasterAS its this forum here goes………….
Andy Craw shafted the company he worked for (isdal) by still owning JTM services run by his wife and Paul Feek.He employed them as an agent and looked after them very well.He eventually got caught out when setting up JTM contracts and was taken to the high court and lost the case.He was banned from being a director for 12 months and therefore was a consultant to JTM in their first 12 months. He tried to get me to go in with him and amalgamate our companies to “clean up the Yorkshire area” using our combined workforce.
He is untustworthy, will call you every name under the sun behind your back and if you stand up to him, as I did, will never speak to you again.
Its your choice to work for him …………but don’t ever trust himTheres more to this than I’m saying, but the point is I was his friend until he tried to shaft me,we were training partners at our gym and he hardly had a decent word for most folks who crossed him, myself now included.

That was the first thing I said to him when he finished his statement to me.

KeymasterYep, still more dire warning on Powerhouse on the front page today, looks as if no-one wants to know about the problem and are doing an “ostrich”.
The knock-on effect could be felt for a while though by sales of warranties as we have this and the CC report due this month as well just for good measure which means that the media will no doubt run with it as a live story. Thing is, it will not be from a good angle for DSG, Kesa and the rest as I think they’ll get a hammering over it again.
The problem is though, that without a constant cashflow stream coming in these warranty companies will die and there may be some casualties along the way, I’ve seen it happen before and doubtless we’ll see it again.
It also means that they will all be looking for ways to cut costs, guess who the prime candidates are for cost cutting? 😉

Quote end.
If you want a laugh, Andy Craw & his wife paid me a visit one day whilst with ISDA. During the visit he told me all about our Mutual friend Mr Roy F….r. Andy said that Roy was subject to an investigation from his employers DSG for unauthorised trading. Looked like he was in for the chop. How ironic is that? I had already done some odd work for Andy and been asked not to tell anyone at ISDA, do all the contact through his mobile & invoice a mate of his, Paul Feek.As regards Roy F….r I had also done some work & invoiced to his home address. Took months to get paid. In both cases I stopped the work as it looked too dodgy. I nearly pissed myself when I heard how Andy Craw was booted out.
