I just saw an advert on the TV for “Colour Catcher”, it’s like a Bounce sheet for a washing machine that is supposed to catch colour runs. Okay so the jury’s out on that till it’s tested but I’m thinking that more than a few of those will find their way into the pump and, since it’s designed to survive the wash it’s bound to block the pump.

    Brilliant! 😀

    Re: Just Brilliant!

They have been blocking pump filters for a couple of years at least, several references to them on the forum. I have had several Hotpoint machines flooding due to these.

They do actually seem to work though, at least one trade members wife thinks they are great, but they pin them to an item of clothing or something.

In fact you thought they were ‘brilliant’ then as well. 😉

I hope they sell millions of them, the new Tazo’s :rolls: 😉 8)

I fished one out of a WMA the customer was not best pleased and wrote to the company and ………………THEY SENT HER A CHEQUE TO COVER MY CHARGE! I suspect we will soon see the back of them

    Re: Just Brilliant!

taking quite a few out of machines lately, the big problem is they do float around between the 2 drums & can give intermittant faults depending on wether it sits over the pump or not
