The one thing about large groups though is there price…….Wow.
I did a quote recently out of curiousity, all they wanted was make, postcode and quoted £116.00 without knowing the fault.
All I can say is if there getting calls there must be some really dumb people around. 😆
Considering there not the ones doing the repair how can we slag off bankers, at least they actually do the work there paid for.

I refuse point blank to fit customers parts,or get involved with putting right DIY attemps that fail. The customer who wanted a stat fitted on her sons fridge for £18 thought to travel 32 miles return journey and charge £60 inc parts was a rip off.Crazy people. :rolls:

this is what its all about. If the customer sources and buys the part themseves then they are responsible for either chasing credits/refunds etc should that part fail again, whats more we are entitled to charge again for fitting the replacement should that happen.

Same here,wev’e had a few cases when quoting for bosch pumps,customer says there much cheaper off ebay(you know the ones,the blue covered type that are poor quality)we just don’t entertain the job because it will only give us grief!!February 3, 2010 at 4:43 pm #310718iadom
