    Hi, anyone know if K59 stats are all the same (apart from capillary length) tring to find a cheap K59 L1244 stat for AEG fridge freezer, ta

    K59 is also known as Danfoss No. 5, Ranco VT9 and Whirlpool W4. The Whirlpool ‘stats are amongst the cheapest at around £3.20 + VAT (standard length capillary) and £4.65 + VAT for the long capillary version. (from Connect.) They are available everywhere by any of the names above. Take your pick…….

    All of them are a lot cheaper than Lux………. 😉

    cheers, so is the L1244 the capillary length? so a FRG8800 at 1200mm would be likely replacement?
