kenmore washer,pump runs after tub is dry

🙁 I have a Kenmore stakable washer and dryer and after the pump drains the tub it continues to run for about 2 minutes,is this normal or will it burn the pump out ?

I wasn’t aware Kenmore made a machine for the UK market 😕

Or are you asking about a USA made model, perhaps even in the USA maybe 😉

I think it is an American washer similar to the Whirlpool semi commercial
which we see in this country. They are sold through amongst others the Sears group IIRC. If this is the case and Chuck does live in the USA, could this be the first enquiry to go into the USA and territories forum .
