Kenwood D/w KDW12ST3A Door wire

Hi,

Just had a customer calling about her Kenwood KDW12ST3A dishwasher, I know its a piece of cr@p, but she wants it fixing. The door has jammed and will not close. Now i presume the tension has gone from the hinge because either the spring has snapped or the tension wire has broken but I cant find the part no for the tension wire.

If anybody could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Cheers for that Dave, does the machine not have a tension cable, thats the part I cant find, think i’ve got the spring.

You are correct my friend, been out to see it today and it doesnt have a tensioner. I’m confusing it with the other Chinese cr@p on the market. The spring had gone and is now fixed.
