    Hi has anyone had a problem with the door seal restraint coming away and is there any way of refitting it

    Yes and no – to keep it simple. The tank/general assembly is an old indesit design. If I’m right in my thinking it is made in China by Haier. I have seen loads Indesit/Hotpoint/Haier models where the spot wleds come adrift. Again if I remember correctly, the tank is N/A and non-repairable. We alwways used to BER them but I daresay you may be able to effect a repair using blind (pop) rivets.

    Yep the spot welds have gone. May try riveting cheers, if not they’ll have to get a decent one

    Tank available via connect for around £40. Takes around 45 minutes to fit.

    Not really ,sump seal bit tricky. Easier than Bosch.
