    Hi,

Ive owned the above dishwasher for about 3 years it only got used for a few months then got stored due to house move etc.

But when I first got it from Currys, after a few washes it came up with E1, I tried in vain to solve this. Searched google and found loads of complaints about the dishwasher, and the same E1 code. My current house has got a built in dishwasher so again the Kenwood not needed so again stored in the garage.

Yesterday i was bored so decided to try and fix it, connected it up in the garage and started it up. After it started to fill I knew it was going to fault out and low and behold E1 flashed up. So stripped all panels off it to gain access to everything, found a post on this forum about draining the breather system, so i did and it worked for a full cycle, tried another cycle and again E1.

I looked on the Kewood spares site:

    http://www.4kenwood.co.uk/cgi-bin/produ … ID=1741834

for the part. Is it worth replacing this part or could it be something else on the machine?

After reading many posts on various forums about Kenwood DIshwashers im not sure whether to scrap it!!

Has anyone got any advice on this dishwasher? and to what parts commonly fail?

I should have took it back when I first bought it, but you live and learn

    Thanks in advance

    Gaz
