Kenwood KDW12ST3A Broken door catch

Hi all,

The title says it all really. The plastic “catch” for the dishwasher has broken and now the pressure switch is not triggered when the door is closed, so the unit has stopped working. The pressure switch itself is fine, just the plastic catch is broken.

I browsed the store but couldn’t find anything similar. Can anyone please give me a price?

Aargh. Checked with the store as advised and they ok’d the part. It turned up yesterday but it is the wrong section of the catch.

The part supplied was the “tongue” of the mechanism, whereas I was looking for the “groove” part mounted in the door which rotates to trigger the pressure switch.

Help please!

I’d suspect that that’s a picking error – contact Dave on the spares@ address and let him know what’s happened. He’s terrifyingly efficient.
