    Can anyone help please:

I have a brand new Kenwood KDW12ST3A, we emigrated to Australia and took it with us. We had never used the unit but when we arrived and plumbed it in it shows E1 fault.
I have tested water inlet pressure and its ok. The unit fills and empties three times then faults. The wash pump never starts during this cycle. Any help would be greatly apprieciated thanks. I have read so many bad things about this unit, Currys don’t want to know and I am wondering if it’s worth trying to fix or write it off as a big expensive mistake?

E1 is not filling in correct time, there is a breather assembly inside left hand panel which has a flow meter in it, as you have moved the flowmeter inside the breather is probably full of water, take breather assembly off and drain it completely of water, breather assembly is connected to tub by a nylon nut and will have 3 hoses connected to it plus flowmeter connection lead.

If that dosnt work it will have to be replaced, part number 673002700005 available from Connect Distribution.

    Always unplug the appliance first
