Kenwood KDW60S12 – Does Not Drain

Hi, I have just replaced the inline heater and all was working well yesterday and it ran perfectly 3 times. Last evening the programme stopped with an E1 code and full of water. I have bailed out the water, took the base panel off and checked the pump would turn. I guess there is a separate drain pump and this might be stuck but I don’t know how to get to this. When I turn it on now the machine basically keeps counting down but no drain, it does fill and run eventually but then won’t drain…

Does anyone know how to clear an obstruction in the drain pump (I was sure you could do this from above).

you cant do it from above

think you have to take off right hand side of case

follow drain hose into machine it should go to the drain pump. prob got glass in it or something
