KENWOOD KFC60SS15 Intermittant Alarm going off.

Hi,

I had the wiring loom replaced about 8 months ago as the display buttons weren’t responding & the cables on the loom were broken. Recently, the alarm goes off intermittently when closing the fridge door and the display shows – – instead of displaying the freezer temp. Once you press the alarm button, it resets itself & is fine again until the next time. I originally thought someone had left the door slightly ajar but this can’t be the case. Am concerned, as if it isn’t reset (alarm stops beeping after 3 beeps) the freezer starts to defrost until you press the alarm button again & it resets.

Has anyone got any ideas or had similar problems & can help please?

I am not familiar with the model and no access to technical for them (:mad:) but it does sound like it could be any one of a number of things.

The wiring is a favourite on these I know but that could equally be a sensor or board issue.

Probably not a lot of help but it’s about as much as I can offer.
