    Hiya,

I`m a newbie in need of some help regarding my brand new KFCD60X15 fridge freezer.

I have just removed the packaging and done a full inspection of my new unit. Looking at the back were you have the compressor..etc I have noticed two small rubber caps. Should I remove these or leave them alone, they don`t look like their doing anything? no mention of them in the user manual.

Sorry for the dumb question. I have posted a pic and circled the caps so you can see what i`m talking about.

I’d reckon leave them, that does not look like transit packing.

they are just covers to protect anything from snagging on the crimped ends of the pipework so yes leave them on

Yes leave them on it will help protect the sealed ends of the pipes.

I could not see a tray to collect the water on top the compressor is there a tray above to collect the defrost water.

    Hi Bob,

Correct, there is a black tray located above the compressor which was not captured in my photo.

    Cheers

That’s ok then as I have been to Fridge / Freezers where they have gone missing in transit.
